Soccer Games

Today was the first soccer games of the season. The boys both had games at the same time, so I went to Nikolas’s game and Duane went to Joe’s game.  Nikolas scored a goal and his teammates scored a couple for the other guys, but they still won 4-3. Joe scored a goal too and the team won 6-5. It was so cute to see them running around the little field. Sometimes the wrong way, but they all did really good not touching the ball with their hands.

The carnival was last night. It was so fun. Nikolas won the cakewalk twice. He was so happy. He picked a dinosaur cake and a cupcake. Joe saw lots of his friends and got some cotton candy. I saw lots of kids and parents having a good time with the music and walking around the circle.

The royal wedding was yesterday too. I still haven’t seen it. I have it recorded on the DVR but have not had a chance to watch it yet. I admit I am one of those women who watch weddings on Sundays. I love My Fair Wedding with David Tutera, the way he turns grateful brides into princesses on their special day. They get the wedding paid for and David takes the ultimate fantasy wedding vision of each bride and turns into the most memorable day of their life. I don’t ever get tired of watching it. Every year Duane and I sit down and watch our wedding video too. The boys ask where they were. I tell them you were not born yet. They watch the video and look through the album and tell me how pretty everyone looks. It was a really good day.
